Ebay Wednesday's.

Every Wednesday we post a few items that we notice do well on our monthly online auctions that Liveauctionners hosts for us.
Last auction was porcelain. I went through our gallery this morning picking out some of my favorite pieces from our consignors. Cute little things, that would spark great conversation when having friends and family over for tea and cookies.

Ft.Lauderdale Antique Show This Weekend

Richard will be working our booth and is coming with some of our best items from our gallery. Ready on the table to be packed up are Bronze, Ivory, Sterling Silver, Musical Bird Boxes and Art Glass.

One of our favorite pieces we are going to be showing is this lovely R.Lalique "Avalon" vase. So come out with your family and appreciate this educational, beautiful, art filled weekend.

Admission is only $5.00. Faire hours are from Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 11am-5pm.

Ferdinand Preiss

This is one our favorie pieces here in our art gallery. The artist is Ferdinand Preiss. This piece is called "Lighter than Air". Being able to photo any piece by Preiss is always a treat. Her face is 100 times more beautiful in person. It is a cold- painted bronze and carved and tinted icroy on onyx and marble base, edited by PK, Berlin, model no 1157, 35.5cm, the model was Ada May who appeared in one of CB Cochran's Revues.

Lighter than Air is in referenced on page 179 in what we call one of the Art Deco bibles "Art Deco Sculpture" by Victor Arwas
